WHY DID WE BUILD HEALTHBIT?
Healthbit is a new way to manage your health and the health of your loved ones.

We were tired of using different apps to record our health and lifestyle information. We wanted somewhere where we could have all our health information in one place and easily accessible.

We wanted to record our health journey so we could easily explain this to doctors without missing anything and a way for them to view this information easily to avoid repeating everything again and again, every time we met a new doctor.

By having a patient reported health record – designed for patients it’s now much easier to see a holistic view of your health. When the health record is viewed by healthcare professionals, they get to see your health as presented by you. All relevant health information is automatically grouped so that it’s easier for doctors to scan.

This empowers patients, giving them more time to highlight any concerns they may have and allowing doctors and patients more time to exchange more valuable information during the course of an appointment.

At some point in our lives we may all take on the role of a carer for someone, be it a child or an elderly relative. We wanted a way to help people record and view information for the people that they may be caring for. In the real world this role is sometimes ‘shared’ between family members, social care providers and healthcare professionals. Healthbit allows us to have a better way to access information and contribute to the ‘circle of care’ so that we’re all on the same page.

Healthbit has been created by digital innovators with the help of highly experienced medical practitioners and scientists, as well as carers and patients themselves.
